Richard T. GAINES, son of the late John Gaines, of Coal Creek Township died at his home in Helena, Montana on March 7, aged 60 years. He was connected with the RG Dun Agency and has lived at Helana for the last 9 years, going there from St. Paul, Minn. He had previously been at Nashville and Knoxville, Tenn as an employee of the same company. He was a member of the 18th Indiana Battery and served through the war. He leaves a wife and one son. - kbz
